The Mariani Foundation for Paediatric Neurology announces The Neurosciences and Music – VI, an International conference to be held in Boston, USA, from 15 to 18 June, 2017. The central theme of “The Neurosciences and Music – VI” is Music, Sound and Health. The programme will include Keynote Lectures, Symposia, Poster Sessions, and a Pre-conference Workshop, to be held on the afternoon of 15 June 2017. The meeting will be of interest to neuroscientists, psychologists, clinicians and professionals in the medical field, therapists, educators, musicians, musicologists, and students in each of these fields.

The highly successful series “The Neurosciences and Music” was introduced in New York in 2000, with meetings in Venice (2002, in partnership with International School of Neurological Sciences), Leipzig (2005, with Max Planck Institute), Montreal (2008 with BRAMS, Brain and Music Research), Edinburgh (2011, with IMHSD – Institute for Music in Human and Social Development) and Dijon (2014, with Université de Bourgogne, Municipality of Dijon and Université de Lyon in cooperation with EBRAMUS “Initial Training Network”). All these conferences have led to publications in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.
