First everyone started donning masks. Next came colorful headbands with funky buttons sewn on to hold the loops of the masks off of the ears. Then floral surgical caps appeared on the heads of nurses in the Medical ICU. Finally there was bold eyewear on the scene. No longer would demure nurses dressed in faded white blend into the walls. Spring, not to mention infection control standards for CoVid-19, has ushered into the hospital a fresh fashion statement! I asked each of the “models” to flash a pose and I snapped their photos. Yes, indeed, CoVid Couture is alive and well at U Health.
