The University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine seeks a full-time marketing/PR intern for the 2018-19 academic year (August 20, 2018 – May 15, 2019). A $1,000 stipend will be provided at the end of each semester.
The intern will work primarily with the Center’s Admissions and Advisement team to implement a media and communications plan. Specific roles will include design and production of social media and blog posts, newsletters, advertisements, press releases, and short promotional videos, as well as general PR and marketing functions. Opportunities for other learning and engagement with the Arts in Medicine Programs at UF will be provided.
They are looking for a driven, ambitious self-starter with the ability to employ innovation and creativity in their work independently and as a member of a team. Those with at least 1-2 years of experience in PR and/or marketing will be considered.
The incumbent will also be provided with a full scholarship to attend the 17th Annual Arts in Medicine Summer Intensive July 9 – 20, 2018 at the University of Florida. Additional training, guidance and support will be provided.
