Brenau University chair of Music, NOAH’s secretary Barbara Steinhaus, is facilitating an arts in health panel as a part of the Brenau Gospel Experience.
March 29, 3 – 5 PM in Hosch Theatre, John S. Burd Center, Brenau University, Gainesville, Georgia.

Experts in the areas of medical humanities and neuroscience will lead a discussion about how the arts affect the brain and whole person to promote wellness. The event kicks off with music by the Brenau Spectrum Winds ensemble. Panelists include Paul Lennard, director of the Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology program at Emory University; Sandra Brim, associate professor of English at Brenau; Audrey Milo-Turner, retired associate professor of education and counseling at Clemson University; Amy Jacques, adjunct instructor of dance and psychology at Brenau; and Charné Furcron, education director and dance therapist for Moving in the Spirit youth development program.
