Arts in Health in the Texas Medical Center Tour
Get ready for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the transformative arts in health programs at the Texas Medical Center! Our day kicks off at Houston Methodist, where you’ll be immersed in a dynamic mix of small group experiences and larger group discussions.
Dive into our small group sessions, each offering a unique glimpse into:
- Environments of Care
- Arts in the Patient Experience
- Arts in the Employee Experience
- Research
These sessions will provide the who, what, where, when, and why of how these innovative programs are brought to life by the Center for Performing Arts Medicine.
After these enriching experiences, we’ll come together for enlightening presentations from other arts in health program, including Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson (pending). Learn how these organizations seamlessly integrate arts into their unique healthcare ecosystems.
The day will culminate with a guided bus tour of the Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical center. This tour will showcase various public art pieces, arts in health programs, and educational institutions within TMC. Join us for an unforgettable day of discovery, inspiration, and the incredible intersection of arts and health!
