A Place To Be (APTB), an award-winning 501c3 nonprofit organization, is looking for a highly qualified Music Therapist to join our team.
Top candidates will demonstrate flexibility, dependability, creativity, strong administration, organization and collaboration skills, and an understanding of trauma-informed, culturally informed care to clients of diverse backgrounds and needs. We support diverse populations and ages with a large focus on youth and young adults ages 5-30 years old.
In this position, the music therapist is primarily responsible for delivering individual sessions and supporting social groups with possible additional support requested as needed in APTB’s inclusive children’s theater program, summer camps, front desk, and community events held by and for APTB, ensuring that every person participating receives exceptional care in alignment with the mission and vision of A Place To Be.
Therapists are provided with clients and all scheduling and oversight is taken care of by A Place To Be. Equipment, space, and supervision support are provided.
